Hypertension (high blood pressure) is a common health condition that can increase risk for cardiovascular illness, including heart attack and stroke.
Normal blood pressure: Less than 130/80 mmHg.
Stage 1 hypertension: 130 to 139/80 to 89
Stage 2 hypertension: over 140/90
